A San Franciscan with an East Coast sensibility, Rhea St. Julien has been carving a life for herself in California for the past decade, which has included such varied activities as teaching Pilates, becoming a psychotherapist, having a child, and writing her way through all of it.  She is currently engaged in tasks as a freelance writer, copywriter, and blogger, as well as a children’s programming consultant and a work-at-home mom.  In her spare time, she can be found rocking out with her husband in their band Him Downstairs, dancing at ODC Dance Commons, or reading a stack of library books.  Her personal blog is called Thirty Threadbare Mercies, where she blogs about parenting and culture.

  2. Rhea: I really enjoy your writing! Loved the Quitting Vogue piece and I was touched by the account of finding your husband’s (thankfully) benign tumor. I’d like to speak with you about a possible writing assignment but I don’t see a way to contact you directly. Will you please get in touch if interested? Thank you! nicky@nickyovitt.com
